Liiveri and its local partners are organizing an international meeting of the EVOLAQ project from 10 to 12 April. The meeting will exchange experiences about volunteering and its development. The founding meeting of the Seinäjoki Region Development Association Liiveri ry was held on January 8, 1997. From the beginning, the association’s mission has been to encourage the residents of the Seinäjoki region to develop their own home region. The board, which consists of ten full members, ten deputy members and the chairman, meets monthly to decide on the projects to be funded. The Ruralia Institute is looking for active village actors and associations from the South Ostrobothnia region who are interested in providing services as case villages for the social entrepreneurship development project. Liiveri and Kuortaneen Savings Bank Foundation have entered into a cooperation agreement, the aim of which is to improve employment opportunities for young people. The year 2016 was a time of new openings

The year 2016 was the 20th anniversary of the national Leader activity. At the same time, the year was a time of new openings in Liiver. We got the implementation of the strategy off to a good start despite the back and forth movement of the project system Hyrrä. We used the waiting time effectively to create something new, as a development organization should. Young people sought to learn from Southern Sweden

We were on a trip to Falköping, Sweden, on November 10-12, 2016, as part of the Growth from the Food Province project and Liiver. We had a total of 32 people traveling with us. We held the flag of the Liiver youth division high with Ilari Hauhia, Loviisa Mäki and Heidi Kohtala.
