Leader 20 years – Provinssi-Liiveri at the market square
In June, you can spot people from Liiveri at the log cabin in Seinäjoki Market Square, or Provinssi-Liiveri. You can buy your Provinssi ticket at the cabin and take part in Provinssi activities (follow the announcement). In Liiveri, the cottage season opens on 6 June with the village week, when we will present what is happening in the villages on Saturday 11 June on Open Villages Day. Local food will be more accessible to consumers from August. Local food pop-up events will be trialled in the Liiveri area, where producers will market their products directly to consumers. 20 primary producers and processors are taking part in the trial, but more are still needed. Village cycling – Explore Ilmajoki by bike
Ten separate cycling events are organized in Ilmajoki on Wednesdays in weeks 23-32. The village cycling events are related to the Ilmajoki Juhlavuedet events. On alternate weeks, the residents of the municipality cycle according to their own schedules and routes or as a group from their own village or association to one of the partner service points, which is on duty at the announced location from 6 to 9 p.m. Sponsored by the Ilmajoki municipality's sports department, juice with a waffle is available at each point.
