Project payments begin in June
According to the Finnish Rural Development Agency (Mavi), project payments will start in June and payments can be applied for electronically in the Hyrrä service. Mavi's press release on the matter. Liiveri can also advise on payment applications, please contact us.
Small group activities available for agricultural entrepreneurs
The Together Power for the Countryside project offers advice and assistance to farm entrepreneurs in small groups. The groups have the opportunity to plan and develop different ways of cooperation around different topics. The groups are open to all production areas. The meetings focus on topics that promote cooperation in line with the group's goals. It is also possible to invite experts to the events. Liiver's government was reformed
Entrepreneur Keijo Viertoma from Ilmajoki was elected to continue as the chairman of the board of directors of the Seinäjoki Region Development Association Liiveri. The annual meeting elected new members to the board on Tuesday, March 22. Juha Koivisto from Seinäjoki was elected as a full member of the board. Hanna-Leena Viirimäki from Ylistaro and Jutta Lillberg-Puskala from Jalasjärvi, the environmental secretary of Kurikka, were elected as new deputy members to the board. Tarja Oksaharju from Seinäjoki, Hannu Rajamäki from Ylistaro in Seinäjoki and Helena Lampinen from Jalasjärvi in Kurikka were elected as the new deputy members of the board. Join the international network of volunteer work developers!
Liiveri is part of the international EVOLAQ network, which exchanges experiences on good volunteering models. The project is funded by the Europe for Citizens programme. The target groups of volunteering are young people, the elderly, people with disabilities and immigrants, both as volunteers and as recipients of work. The partner countries are Italy, Austria, Croatia, Latvia, Sweden, Germany and Finland. Päivi Alaniska is the recipient of Leader Liiver’s 2016 Nuoresta pitäen diploma. The passion for association and organizational life that ignited at a young age has marked her career path as a regional developer, teacher and event production expert. Alaniska currently works in services for starting entrepreneurs at Into Seinäjoki Oy. Liiver’s Diploma is awarded annually for good development work.
