We challenge associations to hire young people to develop community activities.
Liiveri grants funding for development projects that allow associations to hire young people to develop their community. The purpose of the support is to make young people's fresh expertise available to the community and to offer young people jobs in their own area and field. In this call, young people are defined as people aged 18–29.
Examples of activities for which young people can be hired:
Support is granted for the development of community activities, not for the association's so-called normal activities. Normal activities include, for example, mowing the lawn, washing windows, and developing financial management.

When can you apply?
By January 13, 2026.
The application is made through the electronic Hyrrä system.

The project uses output-based payment, which means that payment for the project will be requested based on the outputs produced, not on receipts.
The Liiver board will consider completed applications received by January 13, 2026, at its February meeting. Support can also be applied for later in the spring.
When selecting applications, those set for the projects are used selection criteriaAfter the Liiver government's consideration, the applications are sent to the South Ostrobothnia Energy Centre for legality review. The Energy Centre makes an official decision on the projects.
