The resident budget is Seinäjoki's way of implementing participatory budgeting. The theme of the residents' budget is promoting the well-being of children and young people. Liiveri sent ten young people or those working with young people on study trips to different parts of Europe: Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria.
