The annual meeting of the Development Association Liiveri ry convened at Nurmo Library on March 25, 2025 and elected new board members to replace those who were due to resign and those who submitted a resignation request. The Year of the Lion 2024
In 2024, the most important activities in Liiver were the active application for Leader grants, especially for small business grants, the implementation of the Results website and the active participation of young people in development work. The Liiver board awarded the 2025 diploma for significant work for rural development to Jaakko and Sari Koskenkorva. The couple, who moved from Tampere to the village of Koskenkorva in Ilmajoki, have been running the Koskenkorva Inn for seven years. Neighborly help from a study trip to Central Finland
Exemplary work is being done in Ylä-Muuratjärvi to improve the safety of the village. The Villages, preparedness and overall security seminar organized by the Finnish Villages Association and the Parliament's Village Action Network was held in Parliament on 13 February 2025.
