Leader funding application in May and autumn
There is one more Leader funding call for this spring in Liiveri. Project support applications must be submitted to Hyrrä by 19.5. and business support applications by 26.5., and they will be processed in Liiveri by 9.6. All forms of support are available. Application open: Free yard plan for the village hall
Liiveri will implement a free yard plan for up to three village houses. Now is the opportunity to get a ready-made plan on how to modify the yard of a village house to make it cozy and suitable for the environment, to look exactly like your village. The plans will be implemented by ProAgria's landscape designer Marika Riihimäki. A few highlights from 2025: 94 positive project and business support decisions LocalTapiola granted 20,000 euros to Liiveri's Youth Leader activities Young Bridge Builders, Nordic Preparedness and Eco-Acts Together projects launched 89 of the community houses that received a % survey request responded to the national village house survey of Finnish Villages. The association's business operations started after a break of years.

Mari Mäki-Karviasta, Chairman of Liiver
The annual meeting of the Liiveri Development Association elected Mari Mäki-Karvia from Jalasjärvi as the association's new chairwoman. Mäki-Karvia has previously served as vice chairwoman of the Liiveri board and a board member. She is an active association activist, who is, among other things, the chairwoman of the Jalasjärvi Society.
