The annual meeting of the Liiveri Development Association elected Mari Mäki-Karvia from Jalasjärvi as the association's new chairwoman. Mäki-Karvia has previously served as vice chairwoman of the Liiveri board and a board member. She is an active association activist, who is, among other things, the chairwoman of the Jalasjärvi Society. Leader activities in Finland for 30 years – follow and participate in the anniversary events!
Rural residents, communities and municipalities have been developing their own areas with the support of EU rural funding and Leader activities for 30 years this year. LocalTapiola donates €20,000 to Liiver Youth Leader
LocalTapiola South Ostrobothnia has decided to support Liiver's Youth Leader activities with a donation of €20,000. The donation will finance the Youth Leader projects of youth groups and young entrepreneurs starting in October 2025. The donation handover ceremony was held at the offices of LocalTapiola South Ostrobothnia on August 13, 2025. An international youth project is launched under the leadership of Noora

The Liiveri office is closed during July. Some of the Liiveri residents start their vacation already at Midsummer and the last ones at the beginning of July. We will return to work in August.
