Photography course and competition for young people
With the help of Nuoriso-Leader money, a photography course and competition were organized, with the aim of eventually making a village calendar from the photos.
Wrestlers for the Ilmajoki hall
In the project, two new wrestling dummies were purchased with Nuoriso-Leader money, which are used in training every week. Dummies are also available to other users of the space, such as the national team teams of the Finnish Wrestling Federation, the training teams of the South Ostrobothnia Sports Academy, and middle school and high school sports teams.

The goal of the project was to improve the recreational opportunities of the young people of our village by using Youth Leader money to purchase hockey goals, a frisbee golf basket and a couple of baseball bats and balls. The idea originated from the fact that young people gather at the village's sports fields and the setting is not flattering and does not inspire active use of the fields.
Shared screen time!
The idea of the project was to get a television and equipment for watching movies for Nopankylä village hall. As a result, movie nights can be organized at the village hall and new things to do, e.g. for sleight-of-hand activities. Nuoriso-Leader money was used to support the purchase of equipment, and the deductible part was paid by Nopankylä kylaseura ry.
Speeding downhill!
In the project, with the help of Youth Leader funding, snowboards, sleds, poles and helmets that can be tied to the shoes of the village school's sledding hill were acquired. The idea came from the fact that young people wanted to try skateboarding, but it is an expensive hobby. Now you can practice the sport when the equipment is ready at school. Rural men – from father to son
The project was to create a wall calendar for 2018. The photos for the calendar were taken of men from our village in many different generations. In this way, we honored the 100-year-old Finland and the valuable work of our fathers. Two young people from our village acted as photographers. The photos were taken from as diverse a range as possible from the area of our three villages. Jumping over obstacles
The project wanted to enable pole horse riding with Nuoriso-Leader funding, which was used to purchase pole horse bridles. For the first time, the obstacle equipment was in heavy use on August 19 at a family exercise event organized in Ilmajoki. At the event, the sticks and obstacles received a lot of good feedback from enthusiastic users. The stick horse equipment is supposed to be used by all the children of Airjoki in the manes and outside as agreed. In addition, the Junnukerho and the 4H club planned a joint stick club due to the acquired equipment.
Puck to go
Tuomikylä school's parent committee applied for Youth Leader funding to enable young people to play hockey. The funding was used to buy paint for the school's skating rink, the rest of the costs were paid for by the parent committee of Tuomikylä itself.
Camera in hand
The project used Youth Leader money to purchase a camera for the use of young people at Starttipaja, which has been used in various activities and has captured the young people's handicrafts and moments of joy.
