Purchase of an RC airplane simulator
The young people of the airplane club came up with the idea of renewing the club's aviation teaching equipment for this millennium. In the project, a laptop computer and an RC airplane simulator with controls were purchased for the club with the help of Nuoriso-Leader money, the rest of the necessary money was obtained through the youth's contacts. The simulator was acquired in the spring and after the installations, it was immediately put into use at the spring club nights at Rytmikorjaamo. The simulator also aims to attract new enthusiasts to the hobby.
Young people together
The project organized six agility training sessions, led by trainer Katja Ojansivu. Children and young people from the club's membership were invited, and an announcement was also made to the South Ostrobothnia Kennel District so that the opportunity would reach other young people in the area. 15 children and young people participated in the project. The young people made the short film The Last Spirits, which lasts 4 minutes. Filming was done on the banks of the Kihniänjoki river and at the Hiiroonkallio hut. One young person’s drone was used. Nurmo upper secondary school students' leisure time development project
Nurmo High School's courtyard was renovated and the student union's project was part of this change. With the help of Nuoriso-Leader funding, an outdoor ping-pong table was purchased to increase the fun and physical activity of the students during recess, the rest of the table was paid for by the student body itself.
Safe bouldering moments at Asemanseutu multipurpose hall
In the project Asky ry. built a bouldering wall (climbing wall) in Asemanseutu's multipurpose hall. In order to guarantee safety, thick landing mattresses are needed under the wall, one of which was purchased with the help of Nuoriso-Leader funding, the rest was financed by Asky ry. The young people learned about tenders and their comparisons, and noticed that they themselves are able to influence their own hobby opportunities.
Mysig
The purpose of the project was to bring a new and different kind of event to Seinäjoki, with artists including Samuli Putro, Samae Koskinen, Kalevauva.fi. and Teemu Markkula. The event, organized at Rytmikorjaamo, aimed for a living room-like, cozy atmosphere. The Yhyres musical
The project involved writing and performing a musical play together between young people from Southern Ostrobothnia and young immigrants. The script was written by combining and modifying old fairy tales that are told in both Finland and Afghanistan. The play was about equality, prejudice and bullying. The JBL sound makes you dance
In the project, with Nuoriso-Leader funding, a total of three different JBL speakers were purchased for use by the dance club. Now there are enough loudspeakers for all the club's practices and camps, and the loudspeakers also enable the organization of several simultaneous activities at the same time in different places. It has been noticed how activities remain more meaningful when the equipment is of high quality and functional.
Rhythm Institute's mixing course
The project organized a mixing course during the Rytmi Institute's internship vacation. The mixing course was organized in Seinäjoki at Sound Aces' studio premises and was aimed at mixers who already mastered the basics. The purpose was to expand the skill repertoire of even a more experienced mixer, as well as to offer new and versatile tools for use. In addition to the Youth Leader funding, money was received from the Citizens' Forum, the most money in the project was used to acquire a trainer, who was the top expert Hiili Hiilesmaa.
