Hope Dance 2019 dance event
The Hope Dance 2019 dance competition event aimed at primary school students from Seinäjoki and the surrounding areas was organized in the Ritola Hall in Peräseinäjoki. There was pre-registration for the dance competition and the participants were divided into five different series for the competition according to age and hobby. Musas and basses rumble
In the project, with Nuoriso-Leader funding, a new sound system was purchased for the billiard hall of the youth facilities to replace the old, poorly functioning ones. Today, the music can be heard without shaking, and the implementation of the project increased the spirit of togetherness among young people.
Barrier equipment, multipurpose equipment
In the project, with Nuoriso-Leader funding, obstacle equipment was purchased for the riding field shared by Luomankylä. The equipment has been used by individual horse enthusiasts, hobby horse enthusiasts, and trainers in training.
By jacking off to the gym
In the project, a basketball rack and two basketballs were purchased with Nuoriso-Leader funding. Basketball is now a popular game during recess and students from different classes play it together. Playing has increased movement during break times, and in addition, the equipment is also used in physical education classes.
Sumo and friendship
The project purchased sumo wrestling costumes (2 pieces) for the Nurmo youth farm. The plan was to organize a theme evening where young people could try sumo wrestling, but due to the corona virus, the evening could not be held and was postponed to the autumn and the opening of the sumo wrestling season. Youth Leader funding provided the costumes for young people to use and a functional evening for the sumo wrestlers was planned. Luritus 10 years
In the project, with the help of Nuoriso-Leader money, custom-made performance costumes were ordered for the entire choir. The outfit has been used, among other things, in Luritus' new brochure and at the Seinäjoki city's Independence Day celebration 2019. Due to the corona virus, Luritus' spring celebration concerts will be moved to the fall, as the events are now not allowed to be held.
Development of the student lounge
In the project, together with the student section and SOSSU ry, the development of the student living room at Kampustalo was considered, for the development of which we also received some support from the school. The students had received feedback about the inadequacy of the existing refrigerator and microwaves, and with the Youth Leader funding, it was decided to purchase one large refrigerator and two microwaves. The students were satisfied with the development of the space and the comfort level at Kampustalo increased.
The Green Flag Council of Nurmo Middle School
The project aimed to improve the recycling practices of Nurmo middle school students. The project was part of the school's Green Flag project and the Erasmus+ internationalization project. With the received Youth Leader funding, a recycling bin was purchased for the school's corridor, and in addition, recycling issues were communicated by making posters, holding morning meetings related to the topic, and by preparing waste sorting instructions for students and teachers.
Youth activities for the family house
In the project, the group thought about how to increase the enjoyment of young people at MLL's family house and interest in its activities, since there are few activities specifically aimed at young people. With the Youth Leader funding, various board games, mirrors, decorative lights, baking supplies, paints, a phone charging station, posters, decorative pillows, blackboard bases, and various craft supplies were purchased. With these, we succeeded in creating a more colorful and youth-pleasing look to the interior, as well as more activities interesting for the age group.
Tour of Finland
In the project, with the help of Youth-Leader funding, we traveled within Finland, visiting, among other things, Koli for hiking, staying in the two tents purchased. A total of nine young people participated in the planning phase, but six young people were able to participate in the final trip, according to three of them, the departure was prevented. The project civilized the participants from Finland, brought the group closer together and gave snacks for the future. The tents purchased for the trip were sent to Tasango's Talvikkie flag unit for further use.
