ELY center of Southern Ostrobothnia is looking for a rural communication coordinator for Seinäjoki for a temporary employment relationship. The coordinator's main duties include being responsible for communication related to the region's CAP plan and its overall coordination with the Leader groups, the municipalities' rural administration cooperation areas and the ELY center. The coordinator is also responsible for the implementation and development of regional communication, organizes events and training sessions in cooperation with the regional network, creates and strengthens the network of actors, and tailors national communication to reflect the special characteristics of the region.
Carrying out the task requires strategic thinking and vision for network and communication work. The position requires understanding and know-how about the effectiveness of communication, as well as strong, wide-ranging and up-to-date knowledge about the multi-channel implementation of communication. Extensive knowledge of different communication tools and software as well as skills in producing communication content for different social media channels are also necessary for the job.
