Guidelines and application periods for Leader funding for autumn 2026

All forms of project and business support are still available for application. The project selection emphasizes internationality, security and preparedness, as well as the inclusion of young people in development work. A maximum of €80,000 will be granted for an individual project, instead of the previous €100,000. There will be three processing sessions for Leader applications in the autumn. Leader funding application in May and autumn

There is one more Leader funding call for this spring in Liiveri. Project support applications must be submitted to Hyrrä by 19.5. and business support applications by 26.5., and they will be processed in Liiveri by 9.6. All forms of support are available. The annual meeting of the Liiveri Development Association elected Mari Mäki-Karvia from Jalasjärvi as the association's new chairwoman. Mäki-Karvia has previously served as vice chairwoman of the Liiveri board and a board member. Liiver's funding guidelines for 2026 – maximum support calculated

The application conditions for Leader project and business support were reviewed at the Liiver board meeting on 3 February 2026. The conditions otherwise remained the same as the previous year, but the maximum support for projects was reduced from 120,000 euros to 100,000 euros. The change applies to new applications. Gyrrrä has outages at the turn of the year

The state regional administration will be reformed at the turn of the year, when the tasks of rural development and agriculture and food economy will be transferred from the ELY centres to the vitality centres. The Finnish Food Authority will implement the changes required by the regional administration reform to the Hyrrä information system, which will cause an outage in rural development support services from 1 to 7 January 2026. During the outage, support applicants will not be able to submit support and payment applications, and authorities and Leader groups will not be able to process them.
