The Rural Parliament 2017 will bring together everyone interested in rural areas to Leppävirta, 1-3 September 2017. An exhibition presenting the 20th anniversary of the activities of the Southern Ostrobothnia Leader groups (Aisapari, Kuudestaan, Liiveri and Suupohja) will be on display at the Apila Library in Seinäjoki from 19 to 29 June 2017. Youth Leader support for youth projects

The spring 2017 Youth Leader call received 18 applications, of which Liiveri decided to fund 11 youth projects. A total of 4,950 euros in support was granted. With the help of these, young people can influence their own living environment and organize meaningful activities. Support calls are periodic, they open once or twice a year. Fresh ideas for volunteering: 16 young people start working in development tasks for associations

Liiveri has granted money to the Seinäjoki and Ilmajoki associations to hire 16 young people next summer. The upcoming tasks range from planning game and nature clubs to social media marketing and creating new events. Finland was celebrated in Herrala by planting the future fir tree

A tree was planted in the yard of the Herrala Cultural Center on Tuesday evening in honor of the future 600-year-old Finland. At the same time, the 20-year-old Liiver was celebrated and a meal was served together. 4H associations are selling a package that includes a poster, a book and a spruce sapling. The proceeds from the campaign will be directed to environmental education for children and young people through the Finnish Cultural Foundation. Common areas are improved by working together

The Meidän markki project involves creating landscape plans for places in common use. One of them is the courtyard of the Tapaninlinna youth beach house, the plan for which is already in its final stages. The plans for five other sites will also be completed before the summer. Improvements have been considered with the associations for the courtyards of the village houses, the camping area, the beach, the park and the surroundings of the summer theatre.
